Juicy makes a perfect holiday party dress in Velvet thats my person favorite.
When a trend is still in its Early Adopters phase, it tends to be found mostly in high-end designers. One thing we saw on the runway for Fall/Winter 2010 was the look of velvet tuxedo jackets for women. D&G and Alexander Wang made my two favorite because of their tailoring.
Velvet skirts & tops are also great Holiday picks. These pieces are warm, and you can layer up the velvet skirt & top with a black tuxedo blazer, some thick black tights & closed toe booties. Instant outfit, total perfection.
Ok, so what if you are not down to the whole idea of velvet everywhere, but you still want to spice things up? These velvet bow clips will add a super cute feel to a half-up do, or can be used to pin back some locks. Either way, they make a great holiday feel addition
Last and finally not least, every girls favorite accessory for a night out? The clutch! No girl can leave the house without a sexy clutch to complete the outfit. Of course Kate Spade and Alexander Wang make clutches to die for, but endless also has a more affordable option.
*This has been a whole lot of velvet for one day, so I'll leave it at that! But, keep an eye out this season for the velvet craze to hit. As the weeks pass more & more retailers will start stocking up on this cozy trend. Get those dresses now girls before they sell out!
Happy Shopping!
